Drop in the bucket. They probably took the actions that resulted in that fine, full well knowing the risks that accompanied it. I'm sure it was just another potential result that was factored into the business plan and deemed an acceptable risk for the profits that would have resulted.

Yeah, I dont think this will impact MS on a very large scale. The incident is already priced into their stock. This has been an on-going issue with MS and they dont really change their way. The were having similar issues with Vista and not releasing the needed information or coding to outside developers.
