This type of shit just baffles me. We have homeless all over the country, an economy that couldn't even support all of them with jobs, but apparently we are ok to buy "lingerie to be worn during jungle training in Ecuador". Gimme a fucking break.

Well, if you read the article, it's actually about how it's NOT okay to be charging those things to government credit cards. It really has little to do with the government itself, and more with the employees who are abusing their privileges. It was Senators who instigated the study that discovered these abuses.

Also, am I the only one who thinks it's not a bad thing that our female armed forces are training in lingerie in the jungle? Sounds pretty hot to me.

EDIT: On second thought, it doesn't specify that the lingerie was for female soldiers. ewwwwww

It's still a problem withint the government itself and it's not like we'll ever see poeple losing jobs or anything after all this is said and done. Even if it happens, I don't think we'll ever hear it.

The article mentioned at least one specific example of somone losing their job over it though, and another example of someone being sentenced to prison time. And it's not like it's any different in the private sector. You give people access to their employers money and a certain amount of people are going to abuse the privilege. The only real difference is that people don't give a shit if private money is wasted (unless they are shareholders)

Yea pretty much all south and central american countries seem to have high kidnappings. Wich reminds me to add my review of the movie "Trade" to the review post.

We will always have a government because society deems itself unsuitable to govern itself. We need a superior body to misspend our money and abuse its power.

America = Fail

Jesse, no matter how suited a society may be to govern itself, there will always be some roles where a government is required. Whether it be the institutions society uses to govern itself or some other forms, some degree of government is necessary.

Also, while there are many issues with the American people and the United States Government, I think saying "America = Fail" is excessive, if for no other reason that I challenge you to find something better in use.

Our government = fail. Its not the whole country, I did not mean to come off that way.
