So after some reading, it seems it allows you to use the HU/steering wheel controls to control it. I was wondering if anyone had it installed, how you liked it and cheapest place to buy it. Also I saw you needed another part if the car has the aux, "(For models equipped with a standard “Auxiliary Jack”, an additional “Switch Box”accessory, P/N C9F1-V6-261 is required, to allow both features to function.)" anyone know how much that costs?

Too bad. I just sold an Audiolink for Ipods that would've been perfect.

Anyways, they have them at therpmstore.com

Isn't the issue that aux-in doesn't work if the car had Sirius installed? Can't you just plug in your iPod and it will work fine, or is your issue with controlling it from the steering wheel?

I would like to have it be charged, control from steering wheel AND if its possible have ipod audio text on stock HU (is that possible with any of them?)

I have no idea, don't have my MS3 yet, but I wasn't planning on anything special. I'll control it from the iPod.

The Stock iPod controller SUCKS changing from track to track takes many seconds. long enough that you think it stopped working and start pressing other buttons.

There are now iPod controllers on the market for about $160-170 bucks that display text on the screen. we have not tested them yet.

The audiolink products work great.

Audiolink charges and allows steering wheel control use. It does not display text on the screen however. Not sure if any do yet. Audiolink @ RPMstore is $125 shipped. They are a great vendor with excellent customer service.

I have the Audio Link and I like it, but the iPod cable is to short... If anyone knows where you can find an iPod cable extender, I'd be all about it.

Hmm good to know, I heard of a grom (sp?) and audio link being the two ones people recommended. But what brands are these that display text that you speak of?
