Alright so I'm trying to decide what to do next on my Ride. Just got the wheels put on, I was pretty sure lowering it was going to be #1 on the list, but it doesn't look too bad the way it is, so I'm unsure what should be next. Here's what I'm considering:

Lighting:
HID's w/ E46 Retrofit, AngelEyes, SportBumper Fogs, PIAA Turn Signal Bulbs, BrightWhite LED's for parking lights, sidemarkers, License Plate Lights, etc...

Bodywork:
CF Hood w/ V style paint + CF Grill + Front Lip

Suspension:
Mazdaspeed Springs and maybe the RB Rear swaybar

Other:
If you have other suggestions let me know, not looking for any go-fast parts right now, waiting to see if a turbo shows up. Note I'm already painting the calipers, tinting the side markers and rear reflectors, and replacing the license plate frames.

You got to get that car sitting down a bit. Its like mazda put the sky jack kit on the 6/speed6.

Shave the door handles and use door poppers. Keep the stock paint cause it shines, and roll with it. That would be the sex!

I like the idea of shaving the door handles, don't think I want to invest the money in that though. You guys are probably right lowering is the way to go, guess I should look into that fender roller here soon.

I say drop it to the floor. Looks like Mazda was selling factory Donk packages.

we should rent a fender roller and have a meet to do mine to.

I will split the cost with you. And there was another guy who wanted it done to. He would split it agian .

Shit it could end up only costing us like $10 each.

Are the wheels stock diameter? Why do you have to roll the fenders?

the fenders will rub when you drop it the pinion angle changes

Tires/Wheels are not stock, looking at it I'm pretty sure the back will rub w/ a drop.

When do you guys want to do the rolling? I found a place I can get a roller + heat gun from for ~$60 + Shipping back to them. If we get 3 or 4 people it would make it pretty reasonable.

Whenever you can get the roller i'm in set up a day and we can do it.

I'd likely be up for a rolling meet as well

I actually don't but I'll see if I can snap some tonight, planning on doing a little cleaning anyway. Right now I have a gauge pod without gauges in it where the map pocket was, still trying to decide on what gauges to get.

if yo have a smart key your SOL cause no one really has come up with things for that unless you wanna pay by the hour for us to figure it out... we've done it before on a volvo but it ended up taking 2 weeks

See, this is what I should use my engineering degrees to do. Design car electronics devices.

MazdaSPEED springs FTW!

FYI, LEDs in the headlight housing will fail eventually(about 6 months for me). And the bad thing is they start to flash as they fail (i.e. strobe effect). I put superwhite 194s from autolumination in mine now, that match the other LEDs I have pretty well. However, I am not a fan of their customer service.

Peace.
