Well, I'd much rather see a road course.

Cool none the less and If they opened it up to 1/4 mile racing on some nights that'd be pretty nice.

It's still a LONG way from being a done deal if they haven't even made an offical proposal with the city or had any hearings, granted it's not right in town, but they still have a lot of hurdles to make it through.

There was a proposed private motor sports complex to go in near pine city a few years ago, I never heard if that made it out of the planning and approval stages or not, I'll have to check into that.

The thing this has going for it is it is all privately funded, the ones in the past were asking for financial assistance from the community and local government if I recall correctly.

I do agree though, the lack of road course is a huge turn off.
