I got this in my email, anyone interested in caravanning?
Howdy -
For those of you who don't frequent the forums, here's a reminder that this
Saturday is MNSC's Spring Opener. This is typically our largest meet of the
year, and this year is shaping up to be record breaking! Last year we had over
200 cars!
Festivities begin at noon at French Regional Park in Plymouth. We have the
Moraine Pavilion reserved, so just follow the signs. We will be grilling
burgers, hot dogs, and brats, and will have plenty of chips and pop on hand.
Food is, as always, $5. Kids eat free with a paid adult.
Please be on your best behavior when driving through the park and while
attending the meet. MNSC had a tough time finding a location that would host a
group of our size, and we don't want to jeapordize our ability to have future
meets at this location.
Also, this year we will be checking in each car as you drive in. There will be
two club officers at the entrance to our area that will check you in and assign
your car a number for the prizes. This will also help us maximize the use of
our parking lot size.
If you have questions, you can either email me at ross@mnsportcompacts.net or
visit the forum.
Hope to see you all on Saturday!!
Cheers.
Ross
P.S. Directions to French Regional Park:
Located on County Road 9 in Plymouth. From I-494, take County Road 9 (Rockford
Road) east 1 mile to the park entrance. From Highway 169, take County Road 9
west 2 miles to the park entrance.
