Who's running what for tires this summer?

I only had 3 good tires left from my stock tires on my MS6, but they did have one more season left on them. So I ordered a single tire from Tire Rack shaved down to 5/32 tread to match the other 3.

So this will be another summer on a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 215/45/18s.

1 or 2 auto cross events, 1 trip to the drag strip, and one trip to Road American with the Mitsu Crowd.

I've got a set of Kuhmo Ecsta ASX's in 215/45/17. Nothin special there, just a good solid set of all-seasons at a reasonable price. But, since you asked, I shared :)

I have BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDW NT 215/45ZR-17 300AA. They work really well.

The janky set of Toyo's that come with the car. I dont know how good they are for dry grip, but they werent all that great in the snow/sleet. I believe they are 205/55R16.

I don't have any yet, but I'll most likely be sporting Kumho Ecsta SPTs.

OEM Goodyear Eagle RSAs, 205/50-17. They suck in everything, I'm saving my pennies for some Michelin Pilot Exaltos.

265/35/18's in the rear, 225/40/18's in the front. Nitto 555R extreme performance or something. I'll most likely keep them on my ballin' 18's for street use and get some M/T drag radials in 17" for the track.

246/45/17 KDWS's for street rubber (once these are done I am going with something a little more sticky for street rubber).

275/40/17 Mickey Thompson ET Drag radials for track duty (coming soon).

Vehicle is my stealth Rt/tt

My buddy has those KDWs on his SRT-4 and they are great! I am a big fan of that tire. Looks good, wears well, and performs great.

Just ordered some Nitto NeoGen 225/40ZR18's so we will see how they do this summer, hoping to get out to Road America in the Fall.

I guess I should update posting to indicate that my new ride has Goodyear Eagle F1's in 215/45/17

They offer a surprising amount of traction in wet conditions.

Isn't that because they have one of the best rain tire ratings? I've heard good things about them Goodyear tires

Hmmm, a little research says.... Correct! I guess I was assuming from the aggressive tread pattern that these tires were oriented towards dry weather grip at the expense of wet traction, but I was dead wrong.
