1987 Mazda RX7 Turbo
13B Turbo II engine; manual transmission.
Exterior color: red
Interior: gray cloth
Mileage: 123093
Tires: Yokohama AVID V4 (all-season, minimal wear).
Exhaust: Racing Beat “Cat Back” pipes & mufflers.
Car runs but mechanic reports that engine needs to be rebuilt / replaced due to low compression (4.8-5.3) in both rotor chambers.
Car has been garaged most of its life – never a daily driver. Very limited winter mileage.
Body, paint & interior in good, clean condition.
Options & equipment: sunroof, air conditioning, power steering, cruise control, AM/FM/Cassette, alloy wheels. Car has been kept entirely stock except for exhaust system upgrade. A few things don’t quite work as they should, including: intermittent windshield wiper setting, AM radio, sunroof sometimes needs a nudge to open/close.
Sale includes maintenance records, 2 owner’s manuals and a complete Mazda Workshop Manual.
I’ve owned this Mazda since 1991 and it’s important to me that it goes to a good home. Consideration will be given to someone who plans to love & care for it.
