Pontoon rentals?...

So, there was talk back in the day about renting some boats or pontoons and doing some water activities or fishing and such. Well, I have found out that a place in Pillager, close to Brainerd, had 11 person pontoons for rent for close to $300 for the day, such as 11 to 8 or so and for $30 more, will deliver it, put it in the water and pick it up at the end of the day. Just thought I would throw it out there in case anyone was interested in spending the day on a lake in the Brainerd area and doing some fun water activities.

I would totally be up for that, do they have grills on board? If not we could bring one, sounds like a fun time to me. Wouldn't be too bad splitting it between ~10 people

Any chance they also rent jet skis? I'd kill myself or someone else being on a plontoon that long. A jet ski to run amuck in would hit the fuck'n spot.

That's the last thing I need is a set of keys to a jet ski. I don't think my insurance covers accidental house crashings with watercraft. And that would happen. For sure.

It would probably end up similarly to our RC bashing sessions. In other words, numerous head-on crashes, and other types of collisions.

They hold 11 people. I am thinking if we seriously have 20 that want to go and commit, then we can get two. But if there is like 15, that would be too much money per person. My thoughts anyway.

Sorry, Jess, but you might have to make that 5 for sure and 7 possible...I'm not sure what my schedule will look like for school yet since I don't have syllabi for any of my classes (and won't know until school officially starts in two weeks). It'll probably be more of a "yes" than a "no" but I don't want to make a full commitment and then have to back out at a later time.

Well this is seeming a little dead in the water...so I guess it will be out for this year. I think it is too spendy for just a few of us. It would work out best and be the most fun with 10 or so. I guess we can keep it in mind for another time, next summer maybe...
