Pretty what the title says... Our email service is configured to forward all email addressed to ***@receptorsllc.com (where *** is not a currently active mailbox) to our office manager's account, so she can filter for accidentally mispelled addresses, etc. Normally she receives 2 or 3 emails from spambots that are randomly spamming domain names. This morning, her mailbox had about 500 messages returned as undeliverable--apparently some spammer is sending their shit out, using random ***@receptorsllc.com addresses as the "from" address. Now we're being flooded with returned mail that's getting bounced by spam filters, etc on tons of different servers.
Is there anything I can do about this???
Aside from the relatively minor hassle of sorting through dozens of messages per hour, are we having our company's legitimate domain name being added to spam filters and blacklists all over the world?
