Nanami and I had talked about starting a ferret thread so I took the liberty to go ahead and start one. For those of you who dont know MazdaMINI and mndsm have 3 ferrets. 2 albino and one sable. Susie is our first, she is albino and deaf! She is hilarious though!!!

Nekko Noir and dmention7 have 2 ferrets so far...whether or not we get more depends on whether or not the ones we have will eventually learn to get along.

Monster decided he wanted to become picasso. So he went into the hobby room climbed up on the desk and started sniffing the paint and propellent. If I wouldnt have caught him i think he would have painted something really pretty

Apparently Bandit has decided he would like to have some doritos. So he started to drag the bag away when I heard him. Silly boy both of them like chips. Monster likes tortillas and Bandit likes Doritos.

I still don't know how the hell you pulled that off. I've tried. Although, I did give her a treat the other day, and managed to get her to roll for me. So that was kind of cool. And then she climbed the mattress in the living room and couldn't get down, and was all "WTF do I do now?"

So Nanami Bandit likes the idea of a hobby room so much he decided to start his own. Yesterday he started with stealing the doritios tom had next to the bed. Then went into the hobby room and stole a foam paint brush and brought that under the couch. Those are the only things I am aware of that he has stolen but who knows what else he has under there.

The boys were funny last night too. They were in super playful attack mode. They both were laying next to susie's cage trying to get her to come out and play. But she was sleeping. It was pretty darn cute!

The Codie Adventures, Part I

Climbed up to the top of the blue dining chair (closest to the window), launched himself from the chair to window, smacked his head on the window pane (it was closed), fell to the floor on his back, got back on his feet, looked confused for a second, looked up at me at the sound of laughing, then scampered away, making little grunting/whimpering noises!!! Hehehe~

This is what i found along with this picture so i had to share!
Sniffles is one of the noisiest ferrets I've ever met. He is deaf, so he is constantly making noise, or hollering about something. His favorite time to be noisy is 3am. Fortunately for him, he is also really cute. :) We are not sure of his exact birthday, but he should be about a year old now!

The Codie Adventures, Part II

I decided I would make myself some strawberries and cream (yogurt) for breakfast. As I was sitting on the couch enjoying it, watching some random show on TV, I hear a rustling noise upstairs. I go up to investigate, thinking, ''That Codie, knocking down the box of treats again!'' I walk into the office, but he's nowhere to be found and the treat box is intact.

As I'm about to walk out the office, Codie comes trotting in with a look on his face: ''I didn't do anything! It's fine up here.'' His ears perk up and he stands on his hindlegs, paws placed on my knees. ''I can has some strawberries and cream??'' Because he looked so cute and I was feeling a little relieved that he hadn't done something for once, I give in. I dip just a *tiny* bit of yogurt at the end of my finger and let him lick it. Uh, oh! He loves it!

*Here comes the good part*

Before he begs for more, I start to walk back down the stairs to resume watching my show and letting him play on his own. But no, he wouldn't have it! He chases me down the stairs, passes me, and stops on the step that I am about to take...

*CRASH!!!!!*

Bowl and spoon, yogurt and strawberries, flying in every direction--the walls, the stairs, the floor, even on Codie himself. Codie, startled by the noise, scampers behind the couch and I'm left to clean the mess. After cleaning up most of the mess with paper towels, I go to look for Codie to clean him off. Here he is, underneath the couch, licking himself off blissfully. ''I has strawberries and cream. I r winar.''

Nope, those aren't mine. Since there aren't very many ferret owners in here thus not enough contributions, I just find cute pics of random ferrets in here and post them up. Occasionally, silly adventure stories of our ferrets (mostly the rambunctious Codie) if deemed interesting enough.

I will be posting more pics of them soon, I hope. But no good shots yet.

Black-footed Ferrets. Halfway down the page, there's a ferret cam!!! A kit was recently born about a week ago (or less?) and you can see it peeking out between it's mom here and there. They're more active at night, tho. Very cool!
