We'll be meeting in the Minnetonka/Eden Prairie area and then take some nice scenic (aka twisty) roads down to New Ulm where we will enjoy their annual Oktoberfest celebration for lunch, and then after relaxing for a few hours we'll head out and continue on our journey to Redwood Falls where we will be staying the night. The hotel is very nice with a good *free* breakfast in the morning at only $61/night. It is very close to a local burger/beer bar so we should be able to relive the memories of Anchor Bar in Superior last spring (plus hopefully make many new ones)! There look to be plenty of bars in this town for our resident alkys (me included), and also Jackpot Junction is only a few miles away for anyone who wants to gamble.
Maps will be printed and handed out before departing the Twin Cities.

Reserve your room immediately! Due to the time frame we're working with here we are unable to get a block of rooms set aside for us, but as of right now they do have about 10 non-smoking rooms, plus jacuzzi suites, an executive suite, and some smoking rooms still available. I already made my reservation, and I STRONGLY encourage everyone else to do the same ASAP to make sure you get a room for the event. This is the nicest hotel in the area and I think the price is definitely reasonable.
