NARWHAL
It's been discussed before, in passing, but I got bored and decided to set this up for us.
Google maps has a "my map" option that allows you to add personal landmarks to their maps and save them. I created a map for MNMazda members.
Here <------ LINK
It should be available for anyone to add their location to if they so chose. It's public right now, but I can change that if people decide to mess with it. If you want to be on the map, add yourself, its easy! Also, you don't have to put in your EXACT location if you don't want. I put the mark by my house at the main road into our townhome area.
1. Click the link
2. Click the "Edit" button near the upper right of the sidebar on the left.
3. Click on the blue location marker in the upper left corner of the map.
3a. Your cursor will turn into a blue marker with an x under it.
3b. Find where you live and drop the marker there. (the marker will land where the x is)
4. Enter a title for your marker (your username) and a description if you want.
5. Click OK.
6. *IMPORTANT* Click Done in the upper corner of the sidebar on the left.
