Hey, for once, I'm not the one outright flaming the car. I'd honestly like to see numbers on it. A little power can feel like a lot on a small car, without really amounting to anything. Plus with the mods listed, I don't really see it being all that fast... but again, let me see some dyno sheets, AFR's, boost levels, and we'll talk.

I just called it out on its inability to take a corner without going straight or the rear end wanting to be the front end. It was harmless, but apparently my skills as a driver and the handling abilities of my car need to be tested, as if it isn't done enough already.

GT28 on a 1.8? Wow!

I bet it can hand it to a board of mostly stock cars, but in the grand scheme of things, even for just the twin cities, that car is 1000% small fry.

Those look like decent numbers.... was that at MAP? Low as hell on the torque though, weight for weight, it'd be an interesting race against a Speed 3.

im ready when and where! he has 10hp more than me and what 800 lbs. it would be intresting. if all else fails we will have to do it truck style and hook up tow-ropes and ill smash him with torque! lol:ammo:

lol by the time he gets to his powerband, ill have him half a block away! my torque starts at 3000, his is at 5500 or so

LOL, relax man, no buddy questioned your abilities or your cars, no need to be so sensitive. I was only stating that if your going to talk shit it a tread that is looking for a car to race, that you should step up like a man and stand behind what you say. All he wants is a race to see where his car stands, but it seem all we got here are whiney haters who can run there mouths, but then are to pussy to step up. BTW, good, your car can handle, and handling is important, but tell me where and how often, without dangerously risking innocent lives, you can actually go to that level where you can really push it and enjoy all that handling? Ok, at Auto-X events, any where else? Hmmm. Now how about accelloration? Well, every light, on/off ramp ect..

Yep, no one claimed anything else, like it was said, it is just a boosted civic, done well, by an individual in his free time, with quality parts, with as little rice as possible. The car is very clean. It does have like a standard Mz3 Hatch spoiler on it, and some black rims, but hes talking about taking both of them of to be as low key as possible. And isn't that in the end what we hate about Honda's ingeneral, the RICE effect? People thinking there car is fast when it's not? Well do any of you with MS3 think your car is fast? As Tom said next, it would be a good race for a bolted MS3. Guess the people who think their MS3 is fast are just ricers then huh?

Exactly why I posted here, I want to find a race for my buddy, like a Speed 3 or 6 or something along those lines.

Low on the Torque? Well yea, it is a 1.8. But it has 175tq (87.5% of max) from 3700-8000 RPMs. 2000/175=11.4 lbs/lb tq. What are the MS3 dynoing stock? 230? 3100/230=13.5 lbs/lb tq. You would need 271 tq to match his #s

See now that dyno graph is a thing of beauty. Pulls hard all the way up to 8k. I love it. This is why I wish mazda had lobe changing.

Anyone can step on the gas, hold the wheel straight and shift through the gears. You're the one that got butthurt when I said it was just another Honda that had a turbo slapped on it. :) I have no problem driving spiritedly. Ask mikey84 what happens when you try to keep up with me around a corner. :drive1:
