What's going to be the format for open lapping on Sat?

I'm only going to do that part of it as I don't want to sling $300 for racing that weekend.

you will be classed by car and by experience, and will get sent out in a group of say 10 cars for 20 minutes of open lapping.... passing will be permitted during certain areas of the track and by point by only.... but that will all be explained at the driver's meetings.

There will be heats. As for how many heats, usually 4-8 heats depending on the turnout. We’ll have a grid layout (a controlled conga line). Each heat will be a group of similar cars to decrease the chance of them catching each other on the track.

workers will probably be asked to work the track.

Road Course pre-registration link was added to the very top of the original post. If you plan on coming please take the time to pre-register, we WILL NOT collect money until you show up at the event. However, this will help us gauge attendance for this event being it is the first year of it. Thanks again! We look forward to seeing anyone out. I want to get some feedback from you guys on ideas for Saturday night entertainment for Proving Grounds? BIR is offering a local cover band, but I thought perhaps there may be some better options out there. Please understand our budget for something like this is quite minimal, so please let's be inventive. What kind of ideas do you have?

I have two Steve's pre-registered one with an STi, one with an RX7. Idk if one of those are you. Correct, you don't have to pay until the morning of the event, BIR will collect money. The more the merrier, if he is going to road course have him fill out a pre-reg. See you there guys!!!

Great news guys, Brainerd just informed us that there will be a price adjustment for this weekends drag racing. The price change will be $25 for the weekend for the drag racing. They want everyone to get their money worth. So even if we see a couple of sprinkles on Saturday, everyone will still be able to get out and make up for it on Sunday!

Also, the AutoX, Drifting, and the Road Course will all be run rain or shine! So everyone get out there early and let's make this a great time!!!

just a heads up to anyone coming out tonight. if you camp tonight, friday, it will be an extra $5. so $25 for the whole weekend or. $5 friday, $10 saturday, $10 sunday.
