Nope... It was an E0 Toreador Red with a midnight interior and crosslace Moda Sport (think BBS-style) wheels. I used the stock E0 wheels in the winter. My current handle on CEG is the same as here... changed it after I sold the Contour.

True, it never hurts to see if the dealer or Mazda Regional can devote some of the "customer care" dollars they get budgeted for out-of-warranty items.

Unfortunately, a TSB does not mean the cost of the repair is covered under any additional warranty in most cases. It just means Mazda is aware of the issue and has a prescribed fix.

Calling it a $70 oil change is a definite misnomer, since there are 4 oil changes in the period, and there are also other services provided. I also disagree that one should take the manufacturer maintenance schedule as gospel. While a dealer has a vested interest in selling you more services...
