2nd gen rx7 for me?

Hey I dont know much about rx7's but theres a guy in Duluth on my car forum selling one for $500, needs some work though...

Body is in pretty good shape (not pictured is a dented ds fender)
It ran when parked but i think it needs a rebuild
Interior is riced out and trashed
$500 FIRM! or a trade worth 500

I have tons of parts that i have to go thru also that will be for sale separately. (turbo motor, na motors, trannys, parts car)

its on the car trailer and the doors dont open more than 3 inches

interior: Its bright blue and white. 70% there

I got it off the trailer and running. Did a compression test and its within specs. its having flooding problems and the starter is about to take a shit

I only want a manual one and would rebuild the engine and want a turbo. But I dont know how good this generation is, what issues they have, whats easy to swap (trans, motor etc.)

He has gutted the cats or removed them you can tell by the backfire that comes with gutting them so you will be running extremely rich which could explain flooding. Which means the 5+6 port actuators aren't working or he wired them open.

If you want to pull the motor and swap a 13bt in I would do so. That car has 191k miles on it it could run for a long time depending on how well previous owners took care of it but you never know.

The interior is in better condition from what I can tell than most rx7's I have seen you can get most of the parts you need from 7club stuff like that goes for sale all the time.

So basically check for rust on the outside. the body looks sounds from the scant few pictures I can see. If you want a fun car for a swap or a weekend track car I say go for it.

Aaron Cake is the fucking man btw, for those of you who didn't know lol. Based on what hes saying, just plan on buying a new motor lol. I'm always down for doing some more rebuilds though =)

I have no place to store this! my boss didnt want to house a non ford on his property and doesnt have room in the garage..I have to let this pass :/ I also assume my money could go to my current car anyway...I need a airplane hanger
