3/MS3 Wiring

Okay, does anybody have a Mazda 3, perferably Mazdaspeed 3 (although they should be pretty similar I imagine) wiring diagram?

Or has anyone installed a sub and amp and know which wires run the stereo signals to the front speakers?

I pretty much know exactly how/where to do my install (practically identical to the 6) but want to make sure I tap into the proper wires in the Driver's side kick panel?

Also, anyone tap into the cig lighter at all? I want to use that for the relay and want to use the right wire there as well.

Thanks.

If you dont find it, let me know. I can take a look at work tomorrow and pull the schematic off of AllData, provided its available.

Nice! Thanks Jay. I had already searched m3f a fair amount but I had not poked around mazdas247. That'll do.

I tapped into the rear speaker leads behind the HU when I installed the LOC for my sub; not sure I'd want to dink around with the wiring by the kick panel. Not sure if you can get them separately, but Josh's pop-up screen came with a cool wiring harness extender for behind the HU; one of those would be even better for tapping into so you don't have to cut up your factory wiring.

Yeah a lot of people do that. Cutting into the wiring doesn't scare me though. Wire taps work beautifully and when I uninstalled from my 6 I just cut the speaker level inputs right next to the tap and taped them. No harm no foul. That way I don't have to go through the process of getting behind the HU.

if you need help let me know
Thanks for the offer. I'll let you know if I do.
