Access to exchange server on a email client like "Evolution"?

Hello All!
I've been trying to set up a program by the name of "Evolution," which is an email client that was originally from Linux but now has a Windows version.
The reason I'm trying to do so is the fact it offers Microsoft Exchange access through OWA interface. Problem is that I can't get it to work, it never makes it past the "Authenticate" stage, it instead crashes.
Anyone have any other ideas? OWA sucks by definition.

Thanks!

Two questions:

1. Are you able to get to OWA from that same computer via a Web browser, and does it work properly? Some organizations disable OWA for security reasons.

2. If OWA does work, do you know if your work uses a certificate as part of authentication?

I have read about Evolution being flaky when using OWA, it's pretty hit and miss on if it works and how well it works if at all.

Crazy thing is evolution mail works in ubuntu, I created a bootable usb drive and gave it a spin. Looks like I may have to dual boot my 'puter if I want this to work.

Are there any other possible solutions to getting an email client to talk to an exchange server through OWA?

Being a evo user myself. I found the windows version to fail real bad. Works great when you don't use windows but i could never get it to work any other way.
