Hey all,

I signed up for the forum a while ago but haven't posted or even lurked much yet. Just got reminded to come on here seeing the Flyin' Miata post about MN Mazda sponsorship. I think I have met a few folks from here at some MAC events and at Cars & Cafe last year. So, hello.

Here is the details on my car: 91 Mazda w/ 100K. I bought it from a friend who was the original owner in Spring of 09. It was bone stock w/ tons of records and has never seen a winter (and never will). The first year it stayed stock and only made one autoX due to a broken wrist. Now, it is lightly modded:

Re-Valved Bilstiens
Ground Control Coilovers - 450 f 300 r
Racing Beat Hollow FSB w/ 949 endlinks
RSB removed

Who did the coilover install? We have a member here with a new-gen but is too damn panzy to do it himself along with the help of all of us.

Thanks for the compliments. I did the suspension install myself. It was really one of the easiest jobs I've done (I used to own water cooled VWs so....). I've pulled it a few times now and could probably do the swap in 2 hours now. Not sure of the NC's are as easy though. I've actually done all the work on the car myself.

Thanks again guys. I was really lucky to get the car I did. I actually waited the guy out for 5 years for this car. When we first became friends and I learned about the car, I just said: "If you ever sell that car, I'll buy it." Eventually he decided it was time for a new car and bought a Solstice and I got it.

Mods are on hold for the moment due to an impending wedding, but I plan to turbo it and add some body bracing and a true LSD at some point in the not too distant future.

Wow, that is one sweet looking miata. Welcome aboard!

I've been to a few MAC events over the past couple years, but I dont recall seeing that miata. I drive the gray mazdaspeed3. I've been at Valley Fair the past couple years, and Canterbury last year.

Well done then! Beautiful car and tastefully modded. Hopefully you will get an exception for that front lip as I would love to do something similar to my Miata (once I get one).
