Any interest in a ski/snowboard trip out west (Tahoe or Breck/Vail)?

I skipped out on going out west last year so I'm jonesin to get back to the mountains for this season. Wondering if anyone else would be game for a trip to either Colorado (drive) or Tahoe (Fly)? I'm looking at March or April.

For Tahoe if we pick the right flight dates roundtrip airfare can be had for ~250 / person w/ taxes in March and April. Transfer from the airport to heavenly and back is like $35 Not sure about lodging / lift tickets, would depend on how many people would be interested.

Otherwise the front range resorts in Colorado (Vail, Copper, Breckenridge, etc) can be reached in a solid day of driving, ~1000miles.

Either way Id like to ski 3-4 days plus a couple days for travel. If you think you'd be down, let me know and If there is interest I'll look into lodging options.

I have the right jacket but know nothing about skiing or snowboarding and would probally break about ten bones so you probally dont want me to come:D Sounds fun though!

They have a nifty shuttle that takes you right from the ski patrol place to the ER at Breckenridge free of charge, lol. But yeah not knowing how might make the trip not worth the money, thought the scenery alone is worth going for imo.

Either sounds good to me. I think the lodging costs would cause me to sway towards driving or flying. Maybe we could even pull something off at Lutsen?

My buddy might have something already in the works for Vale. I'll check up on it. It was a giant cabin right(5 bedroom) on the trails at Vale. Included lift tickets and the price was right. I'll post back on that if he is doing it next year.

I'm taking a road trip out to Jackson Hole on the 27th or 28th this month. Going to be my first time out west. I could be down for another trip come march or april, at this point I'd prefer to drive, but we will see how I feel about that after two 17 hr drives.

Jackson Hole has some pretty sick terrain, and some huge verticle too. Be prepared for your legs to be sore :)

I don't mind the drive to CO much but I really want to check out Heavenly too so I'm kinda undecided.
