CEL?

So, many of you have heard, my car threw a CEL a while back. I'm 99% positive it's a vac leak somewhere near the boost guage splice, cause it's kinda ghetto. Car shows lean at idle when I'm on Autozone's code puller. The thing that's throwing me off is- when I fill it with gas (usually from empty to full) it bogs like WHOA at idle, to the point the car will almost die. I'm thinking that it has to do with the release of pressure from the tank from when I open it to fill it, but I'm not sure. Car goes back to normal after about 5min of driving.... so no idea. What makes it even WIERDER, is that the CEL will go away right as the car is about empty, to about 30 miles into a fresh tank.

I wonder if something is going haywire with the venting system on your gas tank. Don't they usually pull manifold vacuum off the gas tank to keep it vented from vapors? What's your boost gauge doing?

This is a common problem with the NA 3 as well, it's the purge valve. Another symptom is that, after filling the tank, it takes several tries to get the engine to start.

Boost gauge is normal, that's the wierd thing. I think Colin might be right.
