Cleaning adhesive from paint.

Recently removed the shark fin antenna from my car since it was deemed the wrong one. Now I am looking for a way to clean up all the remaining adhesive without fucking up my paint. Looking for prodcut suggestion and methods to avoid scratching.

Use 3m wax and adhesive remover (get it at checker or anything auto store). Roll large peaces off with your thumb then soak about a cap full of solvent on microfiber towel and gently in a back and forth motion rud glue off. Total cost about $8. plus 5mins. o and don't forget to wax the spot when your done.

I used a product called OOPS! at the recommendation of some others when I removed the side badges. The rest of my procedure was like Speed's, though I used a cotton facial pad rather than my good microfiber. The product is available at Wal-Mart and other stores.

The hotter the day, the easier it is to get off. I did mine during a 95 degree day in Dallas last year and it almost all rolled right off.
