Feeler: Cruise/Road Trip to Drive some Amazing Roads?

So I think I'm going to look at planning this for the spring or summer of 2012, leaving the fall available for a local cruise again, which are always a good time!

My main question is on the number of days? I go go for anything, but I'm honestly thinking a 5 or 6 day trip, doing a Wed - Tue or similar...
