I have seen this on a detailing site I go to. Is it worth the price?

sorry for not linking to it. I am using my cell phone to post this i would get fired if my boss was to see me. If you google flex and detailing you will see the machine.

Well I know what you are talking about and this Link will give you all the info you need.

The Flex is a mix between the random orbital and the rotary. It will get the job done much faster then the RO but not be as dangerous as the rotary.

My personal opinion on this is, if you have some detail experience then get the Flex. If you are new to detailing and just want a machine that will help save your arm a bit get the Porter-Cable RO. I think I am going to pick up a flex this summer and give it a try.

So I hope I answered your question Jon. Post up anything else you would like to know.

I would think it would be a nice stepping stone of sorts once you are confortable with the PC, instead of going strait to the rotary. Hone your skills and get comfortable with that then finally move to the rotary. I'd be interested in seeing how much better it is at removing some heavier scratches / blemishes than the PC is.
