fs motor rebuild

2.0 fs mx6......I was having some problems with oil in my cylinders so i took my head off and i am having them redone and i had gotten some racing pistons a while back and figured i would throw them in but after i got the oil pan off i cant seem to get the girdle of the bottom of the engine it seems i have all the bolts out even the ones that come in from the back side of the trans does any one know a trick with these haynes is useless just like all data

Hmm, I wish I could help ya, but I haven't been that deep in my motor yet.

I know stuck girdles can be a pita, I would try tapping with a clean rubber mallet as it could just need some side to side nudge. Isn't it just the 10 blots on the girdle that need some come out?

yea it was just 2 bolts under neath some rubber plugs i misse di found a better pic on all data that ly showed them thanks for the help tho
