Humming noise on the Speed3?

Hey all,

Picked up my Speed3 on Saturday and so far I'm loving it, but I've noticed a humming noise coming from the drivers side front area of the car, I've narrowed it down to a brake problem as when it starts if I apply the brakes it goes away, then sometimes comes back. I found a post on the 3forums about the same issue, wondering if anyone around here has had the problem, and if it just went away or if you took your car in to have it looked at?

Damn, that is an awesome price! You should check the torque on the drivers side engine mount when you get a chance.

Haven't had the brake related issue, just the P2006 cold weather CEL and loose engine mount.

Congrats on an awesome purchase! Let the mods begin!

sounds like the brakes need to be seated if the noise goes away wile brakeing

I get that tranny noise(usually in manual cars when they are in reverse...) when at low speeds in first gear.. Think thats it the humm you got?
