So I was coming home from work yesterday...

I was getting off of 169 and going to take a left hand turn. My light was green so I was going normal and about to take the turn when some asshat pulls out from the straight lane and hits my right side.

The guy comes out of his car, asks if I am alright. I tell him Yes I am, are you?
He then says yes and introduces himself as "gravy" I say huh? He goes, "Gravy, like its all gravy, baby.
At this point I am ready to punch this D bag in the face for being such a dumb ass. Oh well life goes on, and people are retards.

The damage starts at about middle way through my front tire. I was soo pissed, this car was in amazing condition! I know the front fender and door are fucked. I dunno if the rear fender can be repaired? Its got a semi good dent in it.

On to a new car? Or maybe another miata?

i'd see how well you can get the dent out of the rear fender before you totally jump into the idea of a new car.

rear quarter can probably be popped- assuming the door jamb isn't all bent and there isn't any other subframe issues. Doors and fenders are easy enough to replace. I'd say take "gravy" and soak em for all you can, and fix this one.

Don't forget to go after his insurance company for diminished value. In addition to getting your car put back into "pre-accident" condition, you should be able to get compensation for an estimated amount of how much that accident would cost you when you attempt to sell it. Look it up.

if your just gona get rid of it how much would you be willing to sell it for. From a body tech stand point the fender and door needs to be replaced, the quarter looks fine to be pulled i would say PDR it but its pointless since its gona need to be painted but its nice that the body line is still intact. By the way TAKE THIS BITCH DOWN WHO DID THIS TO THIS MIATA!!!!!

I dont know about the front fender and door near the door jamb, But I can probably push a lot of that shit out. Just so happens I got a bunch of new tools made for larger dents. Let me know. Im pretty much wide open every day now. LOL.

Oh, and dont worry about any cost. I would like the challenge.

If you are going to fix it and they are paying for it take it to someone who will fix it up like new. If they total it or you look to sell it cheap or even part it out I know of a few things I'd want. :)
