Mnmazda Noob saying "Hey!"

Just wanted to introduce myself, as I was just referred to this site by member '06mazda6iGT while posting on 6crew.com.

I live in Elk River, and got my Mazda6 a couple months ago. Used and in great shape with all previous paperwork for work done, as well as a nice long conversation/email with the prior owner. Hopefully it will last a long time (unlike my '04 Grand Prix GTP Comp G..a P.O.S.)

A little about my car..I have an '03 Mazda6S V6 MTX with Mazdaspeed CAI, MagnaFlow CBE, Tanabe Strur Bar and Kosei 18", tint etc.. It is "Speed Yellow" (I have grown to accept the "Bumble Bee" and "Big Bird" commemts lol) and I love the car! Getting Tokicos and Eibachs put in next week giving me a 1.5 inch drop to get rid of that wheel well gap with the 18's (I am stoked!). Next step, MAYBE headers...obviously I have the mod bug..

Maybe I can make it out to Porky's and check out some of the rides you have, and the exterior mods, which I have none of. I am interested in the brake mod for the 6, and it would be cool to see what it looks like.

This site seems cool and I look forward to trying to contribute andlearning some stuff too! Go Vikes! Thanks for the referral 6iGT!

glad you could join us over here. don't worry too much about the 'bumblebee' comment. my buddy has a saturn sky that's yellow w/black stripes.....THAT's a bumblebee. def come out to porky's at some point, we can help you with some of the exterior mods. otherwise, i'm in st cloud once a month to go drinking with former coworkers if you'd rather not drive to the cities.

Welcome aboard. We need some more guys with exterior mods...we're so few in number.

I'M OFFENDED!

That's cause we all went and bought turbo cars. So fast you can't SEE the mods!

On a less picking on Pete note, Welcome. Nice to see some brighter colors.

Welcome... since you have the V6, I would also recommend the CP-E MAFci system over the MazdaSpeed CAI. I'm in the process of getting one set of headers on my 2004 V6 model installed on Monday... so we'll see what I think of that (have the magnaflows too, so you can hear both together sometime if you wish).

I'm also going to suggest you check out www.6crew.com for ideas.

Awesome! Thanks for all the welcomes! Please let me know what you think of the headers, I would love to hear what they sound like, where you got them done and for how much. I am seriously considering adding them. I know the CP-E CAI is better, but it is too late now..and I didn't know that then. I can live with it as hindsight is 20/20. Thanks for the feedback guys!
