I'm here mainly for the chatbox because Tom is about on the same level of insanity as i, and i needed something else to keep me occupied during the day.
But... i figured i'd drop an intro on all ya'alls (aaaayyyup) anyways.
I live in Indianapolis, so the chances of you seeing me are slim. (Unless you go to Mazdafest or BAMM, or the ClubProtege meet this summer)
Anyways, i currently own:
1990 MX6 GT Turbo
1992 Celica GT
1993 Escort GT
1994 MX3 GS
2000 Cherokee Sport
The MX6 has a mod list/rap sheet as long as my arm, and will be heading down to Gainesville in fall to shock and awe and create mass hilarity at the GRM $2011 Challenge. It's also my daily driver.
The Celica is my "real" project and has slowly been undergoing transformation into a Time Attack car. Should be completed by Summer 2012.
The Escort is being turned into my girlfriend's autox slut/"fun" car. Currently accumulating (almost done) pieces for an SCCA SMS class build (SMF down the road) involving a KLZE swap with MX3 trans and MFactory LSD, topped off with AWR coilovers. Yes. Seriously. Escort.
The MX3 is the donor car for said Escort swap. If you have an MX3 donor car, the KL swap is a bolt in affair in the Escort. Some may question the logic of tearing apart an MX3 with 80k original miles to offer sacrifice to an Escort with 286k miles on it. That's fine. I'm not entirely "all there" if you get my drift.
The Cherokee (or "Churkey" as i call it) is the girlfriend's daily driver. It's stock, boring, and does everything it should. All at 14mpg. Woo.
