Hey I was referred to this site by SteathSpeed3. I'm from Mankato and recently sold my 97 camaro z28 and picked up my friend's 88 TII with an lt1/t56 swap.

This car was swapped around 4 years ago by Jon Wehner for a customer, but his friend bought it from the customer. I've always liked this car and have helped install the cam and swap a better TII diff. in, as well as other little things.

I figured I would buy a car already swapped since it's cheaper (plus the swaps aren't very hard) and might as well buy this one since I know almost every thing done to it since I worked for Jon as a mechanic. The car is a tad rough IMO. It has some door dings, a dent in the drivers quarter panel, and the paint isn't in the best shape but it's decent...the bumper being the worst.

After just getting back into driving a manual (my camaro was auto) I drove it to CFR in Iowa and ran a best of 12.56 @ 113 1.8 60' on really old hard dr's I borrowed from a friend. Third gear kept grinding so I shifted like a grandma into third on every run. The trans finally stuck in 4th a month later and it's sitting in storage, but we got it out driving it there.

Mods are:
95 lt1/t56
CC306 cam
CC918 valvesprings
58mm TB
Accel 30lb injectors
Mid tube jeep swap headers
Walbro 255
Dual exhaust thru an xpipe muffler
Manual steering rack
Racingbeat front sway bar
Front and rear strut bars
Tanabe GF210 springs
KYB AGX struts
and some more stuff..

I will be installing soon (already bought/have):
125 shot zex wet nitrous kit
Summit digital window switch
Stock camaro short throw hurst w/ steeda triax handle/04 cobra shift knob
Rebuild kit for t-56
680ftlb rated Southbend DXD clutch
Custom cold air intake
Radiator Shroud
DTSS elim bushings
Steering wheel
VHT carpet paint

Will be buying soon:

Aluminum valve covers
Seats

Welcome aboard. Once it's up and running again, you should bring it around for the next dyno day to see how the numbers compare with our other member that has an LS1 swap.

Thx for the welcomes! My numbers will be lower lol. 6spd fbodies with longtubes usually do 340-350 with this cam but this car will dyno lower than that

Very nice looking car, although I prefer to see the original rotary in the TIIs, the other FCs I could care less about. But hey, it's your car! Nicely done.
