Hey guys,

I'm from Eden Prairie, referred to this site from kris06, he kept reminding me to join this site from other forums . So anyways, my car is all stock as of now besides interior LED's, ordering an HID kit soon, gonna need help installing it. Want to do angel eyes as well. Look forward to contributing to this forum and also will most likely be participating in the cancer run, I can get some friends with non-mazda cars if thats allowed. Just waiting on getting a new abs control module so my 6 month old car can get back to normal. I have a silver 2006 mazda6s.

welcome, you finally made it. is the abs module the only thing that's wrong with the car, or is it the best guess you have going on right now?

Welcome to the crew! Sounds like you're starting with the visual mods rather than performance, which makes sense with a non-turbo. There are usually quite a few people willing to help with mods, especially if you're willing to provide some food and drink...lol Looking forward to seeing you around.

Kris, here is my thing and I want several peoples advice. http://www.6crew.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13463 . Read that to get caught up to speed, Sorry if posting other forums links is in violation. Anyways, as of the past 4 days my check engine soon light hasn't been on nor have I had any problems at all. Should I just keep driving it around and if and when it comes back, then get it fixed? I mean it is running perfectly, Morries wanted 1200 for the part 300 for install, because it needs to be flashed and codes need to be pulled. I found a used part for under $200, 30k miles and with a warranty. The person I'm buying it from suggested only Mazda dealerships do the install because of the codes and flashing, etc. All Mazda dealerships are union, so I'm assuming labor will be same everywhere. What do you guys suggest I do?

Ysolo, Yeah I'm starting with visual mods because I think its cool, and the engine mods I can wait on as they are most expensive, and I do not race. But I do love speed, who doesn't? I can provide a garage, food, beer, etc for install help. Now any suggestions on HID brands? I noticed Kris went with f4d lighting which I'm familiar with , it goes for 70 bucks for a 55w kit, but he suggested the relay harness. Is that really necessary? Also what brands do you guys like for HIDs? and any specifics on brands for angel eyes/halos?
