Hi,

Received an invite from mazdamn02(josh) to join the forum, I'm also a member of mazda3forums.com. Just picked up a Cosmic Blue 2008 Mazdaspeed 3 Sport on Saturday, traded in my 07 Mazda 3s. Yah, seems like I should have waited a little longer paying down the 3, but I actually got a decent amount for the trade(borla exhaust and all) , not to mention a great deal on the MS3. Anyway thanks for the invite, hope to see some of you guys on the road.

Oh here are some pics I took of the new speed 3. I was in kind of a rush, just wanted to go out and drive. Hopefully i'll get some better ones this weekend.

Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome. So obviously I'm new here and haven't had a lot of time to look around(workin 10+ hours a day right now), but what is this cosmic blue curse everyone is mentioning?

Well there is a thread about it in a not-so-public section of the forum. But the gist of it is that it seems like every wild story about MS3s getting totaled at the track (happened to a member here), blowing up, or otherwise getting trashed involves the color cosmic blue.

Yeah, it's true. A large portion of the really big wrecks seem to involve the CB ones.. although i've been eyeballing m3f lately and a lot of the True Red ones are getting honked too. Seems Sunlight Silver and Black Mica were the ways to go to avoid the curse.

We have regular Wednesday meets, and usually there's something going on on weekends. Seems like next week might be the next porky's meet if the weather holds. We also have a meet going on tomorrow at AJ's, a meet at Nate's over memorial weekend, a dyno day the 17th, and of course, the most awesome meet ever on may 3rd. Head on over to the general events section to get an idea as to what is going on.
