I am putting my pride and joy up for sale. This car was put together with all the correct parts, Mazdaspeed Motorsports Suspension (Eibach springs and sway bars and Bilstein shocks), Autopower welded roll cage, Corbeau seat with Sparco harnesses, Kosei lightweight wheels and facory Hardtop. The suspension was installed by factory technicians while the cage was welded by a local custom fabrication shop. It was raced from 2004 through 2007 before becoming a garage queen/ autocross car. It had an average finishing position of 6th, usually there are fields of 12+ cars. It has two 2nd place finishes. The car has 95,000 original miles. It was built to be able to compete in Spec Miata and IT/A road racing classes and also in DSP Autocross class. It also makes a very fun track day car. Due to when the car was built some of the components do need to be updated. This is reflected in the low price. The harnesses are okay for Autocross use but need to be replaced for Road racing duty. The roll cage also needs two more bars welded in to be current for Spec miata rules. The tires could be replaced as well. A championship caliber car can cost upwards of $16,000 while a mid pack car is around $10,000+. This car has been 100% reliable for me and is very easy to drive. Spec Miata is the fastest growing and most popular way to get into road racing and this is one of the best presented cars out there. Why spend more money building a car when you can get into this one and go. This car can be made street legal with a few changes meaning you can drive to the track, race hard and then drive home. The car is available for showings. With two young children the time to race is just not there anymore and the car is too nice to just sit in a garage. Go ahead and ask question and make me an offer.
