Plastic bottle boat to make ocean voyage

Imagine collecting thousands of empty plastic bottles, lashing them together to make a boat and sailing the thing from California to Australia, a journey of 11,000 miles through treacherous seas. That's exactly what David de Rothschild is planning to do.<div class="feedflare">

Great idea dude....watch the news lately? NFLs players die at sea in a real boat (granted it was a little puny 21' boat, but still) and you're going to give it a go in a bottle boat.... Sounds like someone's going for a Darwin Award.
