SUDO Make me a SAMCH
So I participated in a handgun / spy date class with these guys (Sealed Mindset) and they invited me to a this event they are holding. It's a private showing of the new movie coming out Act of Valor, 1 drink included, some real seal footage before the movie and discussion with a Navy seal about the movie afterwords. Full description they sent me is below. If you're interested in going I can send them your email address and they will send out an invite to you. This isn't confirmed to run yet they need 85 people in before it's a 'for sure' deal.

Sealed Mindset is considering a PRIVATE showing of the Navy SEAL film, ACT OF VALOR, at the ICON Theater in the West End on Monday, February 27, 2012.

Trailer - http://actofvalor.com/

This PRIVATE showing includes:
- Drinks in the ICON bar
- A "pre show" of real Navy SEAL mission footage
- The film ACT of VALOR
- A "post show" discussion of what was real and what was great cinematography.

Larry Yatch will answer questions and provide his insight on his SEAL friends in the film and will update friends, family and plank owners on the NEW facility.

Please RSVP to this exclusive invitation with the number of guests you will be inviting so that we can gauge interest prior to confirming the event.

If we have 85 guests RSVP by 2/20, we will hold the event. There is limited availability, so RSVP as soon as possible.

$25 per person, RSVP ONLY
(includes 1 movie ticket, 1 drink ticket, pre show, film, and post show)

I don't know if I'd do the above, due to the date, but this is one move I'm really looking forward to. Looks amazing.

Agreed. Saw the trailer for this when Jess and I went to Girl with the Dragon Tatoo a couple of weekends ago (an awesome movie, btw) and it looked REALLY amazing! $25 isn't horrible considering the extras, but we're booked solid in February, so it's highly unlikely I'd be able to swing it.
