Well this year went better then last, and we would like to see the trend continue. For those that attended our event please provide us with constructive criticism.

* What did we do well?
* What did we do poorly?
* What would you recommend for next year?
* How can we make it better?

Let's all put our heads together, and discuss, and work our way to a 3rd Annual Proving Grounds 2011 that triples its size once again

* What did we do well?
Overall, the event schedule was clearly laid out in the pamphlet handed upon entry. The itinerary and map was clearly displayed and it was very clear-cut. The main grounds were typically used both for show and 'swap/fix-it' areas. It was all pretty well-defined.

* What did we do poorly?
I don't know if anything can be done about it for next year, but the campers seemed very isolated from the main grounds. Essentially it seemed like it was pretty split-up with the campers on the other side of the strip, and the main area being used for sponsors or crews that drove in for one day racing.

As for nightlife, it seemed pretty dull on Saturday night. Friday night was hopping, but both nights it seemed like your tent was the only place to be. Again, I didn't venture over to the campgrounds so I have a slightly skewed perspective. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, but encouraging a larger area for socializing/shenanigans may be beneficial or detrimental I suppose depending on what happens.

Oh and what was with the dude that got the snot kicked out of him? If he deserved it, then so be it, but better security certainly wouldn't be a bad idea. With that, people yelling at every car that drove by to do a burnout right on the main street for hours was also lamesauce.

* What would you recommend for next year?
I'd say a couple of big 'ol whiteboards would be awesome on your rig. One for the event schedule/times, etc and the other for the drag racers. It was very tough to hear the announcer say who needs to be on what lane. My buddies running were always asking where to be. Although you'd basically need a dedicated person to keep changing it, I think it'd be a helpful solution.

Oh and a bigger freakin' beerpong table. Make it legit - your name on it, BIR's logo, etc. This will be something you guys will hopefully doing for years to come - it'd be a neat little piece to have, and keep it white so you can get people to sign it or something - essentially a log of everyone that has attended.

* How can we make it better?
- Utilize the bar for nightlife and music.
- A couple more beerpong tables for some tourney action.
- Get the campers over for a more unified experience.
- Better security.

Really? For a "what can we do better" on a race event the focus was beer bong and night life? Well, he is "Johhny Fucking T!" hahaha

Beer PONG not Bong....big difference, sort of lol.

Also he did give other ideas as to what could make the racing event better, I'd take it as a compliment that the racing portion of things was well run.

Exactly. The racing aspect ran without a hitch - except for the lack of hearing from the track announcer.
