Sedan Exhaust on my Hatch?

As many of you know, Josh is selling his Draxas exhaust. I'm thinking of picking this up to toss on my hatch. I know that it is about 3" longer, that is not big deal. I'm wondering 3 different things:

1) Does it matter that he had a MTX and I have an ATX?

2) Are the mounting brackets the same on the hatch as they are on a sedan?

3) Is there anyone in the area that would be willing to help put this on? The local exhaust shop I checked into wants about $200 to put it in and cut it. That is if everything goes nice and smooth.

Mike, Its actually a vibrant.
1. Mtx vs. Atx doesn't matter.
2. mounting brackets i don't know.
3. $200 is too high, I'd check some other places, like RS motors or DB performance, or our sponsor LSE.

Mike, I'd be down for helping with the install one of these days. I've never done it before, but since the vibrant replaces the cats, there is no cutting. Should be a pretty straightforward job.

That would rock. I'm still trying to find out if the mounts are similar at all or if the whole thing will have to be redone. The M3F guys keep skipping my question and start the debate over how much everyone else's exhaust sucks.

Okay, my bad... looks like it will still require cutting. I was thinking the only cut you had to make was because there was no flange behind the cats (not an issue, since the vibrant replaces the cats). But you have to cut the mofo, just to get it out. Got a sawz-all, Mike?

sorry paintball gun would be a slippery slope down hill for me. i'd have to go get a crap load of accesories then I'd really get in to it and then i'd be really poor.
i need some cashola so i can order me up a cpe or vibrant cat back for my ms3. good luck with sellin it, you should post it here and on the 3forums, i'll bet you'd have a buyer with in 2 weeks.

cameras don't get fixed any more, they get replaced, lol.
bring it with on sunday if you're coming to jays house or let me know if you're bringing it to a wednesday night meet, i'll bring my camera so we can get pix.

So far everyone on the M3F says the mountings are the same, they just have different body panels. When I got the cash I'm all over this.

How is the Highway drone with this? I do alot of longer road trips.
