Selling the Protege to help pay off some debt, unfortunately.
2001 Mazda Protege ES - white
174,200 miles approx
5 speed manual transmission
all disc brakes
power sun roof/moon roof
power everything
two keys and two remotes
NEW/UPGRADES
all inside lights are red LEDs thanks to Adrian
Alpine head unit with iPod connection cable has replaced the stock 6 Disc changer, but I can install the original deck if preferred.
K&N air filter was installed almost a year ago
black eyelids have been put on the headlights
front Mazda badge has been painted black
rear badges are currently blue, but I was going to strip the paint/chrome with bleach like I did the front one, haven't finished that yet.
new intake manifold gasket within 10k miles
new NGK spark plug wires
new thermostat/gasket
newer front tires-all have great tread (Kumho Ecsta ASX)
Kenwood subwoofer/amp installed from a Mazdaspeed Protege
PAST/CURRENT WORK
right rear of car has been hit (fall 2006), but got it repaired good as new (new trunk/light)
when windshield was replaced by dealer, they scraped up the roof pretty bad so it started rusting, got that repaired same time I got the rear end replaced, as well as a brand new paint job for the whole car.
the car will eventually need a new serpentine belt, and new front sway bar end links.
minor hail damage from storm this past summer (hail dents are smaller than peas)(damage can be easily repaired with dry ice and heat, just haven't gotten to it yet)
only rust is on bottom of the front doors and a little inside rear fender, rusting doors is common in the Proteges. The rust has not gone through the door.
both small front pieces of trim have been removed, I was going to completely remove the side trim but didn't finish yet.
