Sunday Crusie into WI 10/2/11

Came up over the detail day today...

Anyone else want to roll into WI during what should be an amazing day? Looking at a start time from 10am to 11am, heading over for lunch at the WI cheese factory and then back. Nothing to serious, just a nice cruise.

Matt, Dan, and I are looking like we are in thus far.

Meeting @ Fleet Farm at 10:45 - route is up in the air but could look something like this

The stop for lunch we had talked about at the detail day - Nelson's - is about 1.5 hours SE of Eagan, and quite a jaunt from Stillwater. I'd probably better not venture quite that far away from the metro being I'm on-call for work. If we wanted to cruise the roads along the river on the MN or WI sides between Stillwater and Prescott without going too far East from the river I'd be down with that, and find someplace to eat. I know St Croix Trail is a pretty nice drive.

here's an option that might work for me - Meet @ FleetFarm off 694/36 and head over towards stillwater from there, take St Croix Trail south all the way to Prescott, then zip down to Cty Rd O for a some twisties and then back to Prescott. Obviously if I got called I'd have to break-off and head back home/to the office.

We Should be able to secure some beer on the way home in Prescott or take a similar route back north and hop into Hudson or Stillwater.

Sounds like fun, but I'm still a little sketchy on driving the MSP hard until I get a solid tune in place. If you guys were thinking more of a sunday cruise as opposed to "fun" driving, I might be able to convince Nanami to bring out her new ride for a scenic drive, but I would feel sorry for anyone behind us. lol

You could still go Hayden, just turn back towards home whenever you deem necessary.

Jay if you guys wanted to come just for the portion from Fleet Farm over to the river and then down to Prescott I can see that as being more scenic cruising with my foot getting heavy now and again lol, then head back while some others cruise down towards O, if you don't want to be left behind. That or we can just agree to wait for ya after certain sections if necessary.

AJ just told me about this and I'm tagging along. I'd be willing to have one passenger with me if someone doesn't want to drive. Meet me at my place (694 and Lexington) or at Fleet Farm.
