Charge THIS!!
for those who haven't seen (or heard) the intake in my Lumi here are some pics of what caused the little civic that wanted to race me last night jump back into the slow lane with the rest of traffic (for those who don't know the story i will get you caught up).
I was on my way home from a little road trip up north to get my college transcripts and visit some friends, heading home on 169S and this early 90's Civic starts to tailgate me horribly. Now considering the road conditions weren't that bad aside from being a little bit wet, i decided that i really didn't want this guy riding my a$$ too much longer. So i punched the throttle enough to get OD to kick in and drop down to the lower gear for passing, the homebrew intake growled, the car surged forward a little then i let off the throttle to kick OD back into the regular drive gear and the intake 'exhaled' (i have been accused of having a supercharger on my car by people i worked with that drove hondas strictly by the sound the intake makes) and i resumed my cruising speed of 65.
Shortly after the intake growl that civic jumped into the other lane behind another car and proceeded to fall back into traffic in the slow lane. Made me smile and laugh a little after he got behind that other car. It's like he was hiding from something....
so here are the pics of my beastly-sounding intake!
