What Router Do I Go With?

well here is what I want to do, and then you guys can give me suggestions. I currently have a docsis 3.0 motorola modem that easily pulls 20-40 on the regular during speed tests.

I currently have an OLD T-Mobile at home router that I'm using for eveything and have ghetto fashioned to do everything I want, but I'm looking to upgrade to make it all work correctly.

I would still like to have the option of using the T-mobile router for just the @home service

These are the items that will be running on the network:
xbox 360
ps3
samsung tv possibly another in a year
2 galaxy tablets
1 laptop possibly another in a year
I have a 1.5tb external hard drive I would like to make a network drive and have all of my devices be able to access it.

I currently do not game on my computer but I might in the future.

What router would be a good option for me?

Sadly, that one's back up to $99.99. But with the coupon code, it's still $15 off that, plus free shipping. I think I'll be getting one soon unless something better comes up.

If you don't need the USB port, media server, and can deal with single band wireless the e2000 is cheaper and still a pretty good option.

Another thing that you could look at if you have a spare PC or pickup a cheap low power one is running one of the many linux based router distros, pfsense would be my reccomendation there.

A separate gig switch, Cisco ASA 5505, and Aironet Access Point are what i use at home, but if you're not a networking geek and/or don't want to learn Cisco a home router is probably a better bet, and far cheaper.

I love computers but I just want to plug and play as long as it works well. and about 150 is the most I want to spend on something. but for that price it had better promise gold to radiate out of the top
