I can imagine. I laid tire through two gears coming out of Morries the night I got mine. I'm sure they see it all the time.

Very nice car man... I am wicked jealous.

On a side note: Isnt there a break-in period on those things? I cant imagine taking the car to redline right off the lot is any good for it.

I don't know if there's any official break-in other than the normal "vary your speed often for the first 500 miles" or whatever Mazda recommends, but I'd stay off a lot of boost for the first 1500 miles, then get an oil change, then start gradually working it up to MAXIMUM POWAR. Engines have a lot of wearing-in to do when they're new, and I don't think pounding on them will help them much.

Break in=dump the clutch, smoke 1st and 2nd, chirp third, and scare the shit out of yourself. Or at least that's what I did.

I didn't spin the tires out of the lot, I'd like them to last a bit. Matt and Adrian can attest to my "agressive break-in" though.

Even not spinning them those stockers will wear down fast, or so I've heard. My Nitto's should make it through the summer then hopefully I can get through next summer on the stockers.
