Workcopter is stowed safely in my desk for ocassional backroom shenanigans. I'm getting the shipment of my mini-workcopter today so I'm pretty pumped. For some reason I kind of feel like Iraq taking in illegal arms shipments and dealing with no fly zones, lol.
that sounds like a good plan, if you want to really get fired for a work copter i can loan you my walkera 36

its 4 cell brushless, its louder and has twice the rpm its scarry as hell to try and fly in doors
What is the KV rating on that motor??? Must be pretty low...can't imagine how you keep the head speed low enough to keep the blades from pulling right off the grips!! :bullrider:

60 min. 11-12 dood. I almost spent 100$ there today. They have the wheels I want in stock, and then I was going to buy road tires for it.... and I needed bearings, and then there was a new body I wanted, it was getting out of control VERY quickly. So I bought the bearings and ran before my check card had a chance to change my mine.

I got no problem if you guys like shopping there, but Hub is just too damn spendy on their stuff for me to shop there...they basically charge full retail on parts, and they're kits are $20-30 more than other shops in the area. The only time I go there is when they have something I want that none of the other shops have in stock, which is about once every 6 months.

Sky Hobbies is very close to Hub in Richfield (Sky Hobbies was formerly known as Hobby Warehouse), and they have much better prices...they carry more plane/heli stuff than car stuff, but still have a decent selection of tires, wheels, parts, etc (probably just as big as Hub.

You talking about the hub in Richfield, or Little Canada? I didn't know they raced at the Richfield hub, but I believe the LC Hub has an outdoor onroad track...

Richfield. I work in Edina, I just have to take France to 66th, and run over to Penn.

I also agree, Hub is hideously expensive. I prefer RC Car Kings in Burnsville, but they are close on Sundays, so when I need stuff, I have to go to Hub. And when I f00k a set of bearings in my left front wheel and want to rebuild it at work, I have to go to Hub. Sometimes you gotta pay the price. I wouldn't go there given a choice, but there was no choice in this matter. I did hold off on buying the wheels I wanted, i'll likely get those online somewhere.

Damn, Josh, you work out that way too? When my building moves in a couple weeks, the three of us are gonna have to get together for lunch. My lunch is flexible, but I normally go at 11.
