for me i already have one of them which is my rexy, and my second choice would be a v12 BMW

My buddy just picked up a BEAUTIFUL '88 iX this summer, it is amazing...

If I had limitless resources and could pick two cars....

Lancia Delta S4 fully built rally car and uhhh... I dunno, nothing else would really matter, maybe a twin-charged impulse with an ecotec swap and an evo X driveline swap.

Wow, people are after some really basic cars. I would go for the new GT-R as mentioned, Enzo, 911 GT3R, AM Vantage, BMW M3 etc....

As for older cars, most of the vintage Japanese line-up would do. Datsun 510 and 210, old school GT-R, old school Z cars, etc...

It was nice, I haven't had a 'fun' ride in it yet, a little commute, but for it's age it is an amazing car. All sorts of crazy electronics (that all worked) and limited slip center and rear... booyah.

If it had a turbo 4/6 it would be perfect .

What are you talking about basic, I picked a friggen' supercar from the 80's that there are probably less than 100 of worldwide...

Seriously?!? If you could have any car, regardless of money, thats what you would pick? You can go build those cars for well under $20k.

See that's the thing for me.... I have never driven a car that cost more than $30k, so I have no frame of reference for these "dream cars"

Hence, anything I listed as a favorite car would probably be something that could be had or built for $40k.

Well I guess the way I look at it, I am gonna list cars I will likely never be able to afford. I am not saying I dont want a Hachi-Roku with a 2JZGTE in it, cause I do. Its the sex. But, I am thinking along the lines of exotic cars I will never own.

Thing about the M20B25 engine in the iX is that it can take boost like omfgwhoa.

Question is, I dunno if the xfer case can. :\ That shit was slapped together by BMW, and the longevity of the xfer case and front drivetrain components really reflects that.
