I'M OFFENDED!
Well I guess the way I look at it, I am gonna list cars I will likely never be able to afford. I am not saying I dont want a Hachi-Roku with a 2JZGTE in it, cause I do. Its the sex. But, I am thinking along the lines of exotic cars I will never own.
I can completely understand what you are talking about, but here is my rationale. Anyone can buy an exotic, all that proves is that you are a rich douchebag. With cars like these, it proves that I am an insane rich douchebag, which is much better.

QFT.

If I was a rich douchebag, my garage would be like Leno's. Sure he's got the requisite modern italian exotics, but he also has a SHOGUN, and god knows how many other frankensteined contraptions that would confound the living hell out of anyone who isn't a car nerd with a tinge of mental illness.

Exactly. Leno is a true car guy, not someone like Jerry butthole Seinfeld that calls himself a car nut and only gets Porsches.

i heard that sinfield haS OVER 70 porsches, is there really that many different porsches out there or does have doubles and triples of the same car just different colors?

Oh he could easily have 70 different porches, especially since he's do doubt going after collectibles, customs, and one-offs

Right. There are certainly enough variations to keep a guy with that kind of cash busy forever. But that doesn't change the fact that he only specializes in one thing, were as guys like Leno, Tim Allen, and Steve McQueen like it all and work on them themselves. I saw an episode of Leno once where he invited Tim Allen on to have a burnout contest. Leno pulls a candy pink GnX pro street car out of the trailer, claiming it's the wife's car, and is "lightly" modified (This thing is wearing a chute, full 4 link/tubbed etc and gigantic Mickeys) Tim Allen answers with an old fox body stang prepped for Le Mans/road racing that has a full cage, Hoosiers the works, also claiming it's the wife's car, and "lightly" modified. The moral of the story being that on any given day, these guys have the means to bring any exotic they want to the table, and chose heavily modified "common" cars. That is the mark of a true car enthusiast if you ask me.

I'd have to say I still have feelings for my first sports car, a '92 Stealth RT/TT. Yes they are bulky and their trannys are most likely made from previously used tolet paper, but that pair, AWD and TT V6, could give you that special feeling usually reserved for that special someone in your life.

Aston Martin Vanquish V12 because the sex of sound, design and elegance oozing off the fk'r get me all sorts of tingly in the pants. While in England a number of years ago I had the privilege of seeing several and sitting in one. The coach work alone could come close to sealing the deal as I have a terrific respect for those that do the work.

Maserati Quattroporte GT for it's "practicality". It's the closest thing you'll come to a four door Ferrari.

Koenigsegg CCXR (http://www.autoblog.com/2007/11/26/the-production-1018-hp-ccxr-is-here-0-60-in-2-9-sec/)

Weineck Cobra 780 cui Limited Edition (http://www.exoticcarsite.com/pages/tuners/weineck-cobrao780-cui-limited-edition-2005.htm) Because of it's absurdity.

Ariel Atom because everyone needs a sick track car.

From Burnsville Off-Road I'd have to build some ridiculous 6.4l v8 or diesel Jeep rock crawler

Speaking of Leno and Seinfeld, those two are in the running for the American version of Top Gear. I vote for both.

p.s. I realize there are more than two cars listed...but I'm a glutton for all vehicles (motorcycles would likely be on this list too) but if HAD too, arm twisted narrow it down... I'd probably go for the first two.

Why can't they just broadcast the euro Top Gear here? Sure they have a bunch of cars we don't have, but I'd rather see those then the stuff we get here anyways. Wouldn't be the same without Clarkson, The Hamster, James May and of course, The Stig.
