I was at the last LP show in the cities 4 years ago as well, they rocked llive then as well. They aren't overly flashy with the stage setup, but damn if you like the music you can't help but not like the show.

As far as Linkin Park goes, for some reason, i've purchased every album, except for the remix. I've hated them all, but i've purchased them.

Linkin Park is ok but they kind of mix there stuff up too much for me. I like my music a bit more raw.

Linkin Park has there good sides and there bad sides. None of witch I would pay to see. But the Excel is such a good place to see a concert it may have changed my mind.

I think LP rocks. I can understand why people would hate them though. Chester has that type of voice that people either love or hate. Plus, as Josh mentioned, people want to hate LP cause its LP. They dont want to be a conformist or part of a social fad...

In my opinion, people who dont like something just because others do are actually the conformists.

See, it has nothing to do with conformity for me. Their first album was rock solid. Then came the remix, which pissed me off. Then came Meteora, which was aight, but not nearly as good as Hybrid Theory. Minute to Midnight came out, and the said the word fuck 6 times to be hardcore. Wow. I'm tired of Chester wining with all of this midi-protools minimalist euro-pop bullshit. They were a lot better when they actually used instruments. The ONE exception to this rule was the mash-up they did with Jay-Z. I liked that.

Agree with Tom, they have kinda gone down hill since Hybrid Theory, I really didn't care for more than a song or two on Minutes to Midnight, I still like them and wouldn't mind seeing them but wish they'd step it up a notch.

The Excel is an awesome place to see a show though, same with Myth.

Anyone going to see Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin, and Seether on the 24th of March?

Oh and it seems Dream Theater is playing the Myth in May, that should be a good show.
