Get it in writing that you will be covered at the specific event you are attending or I would take it with a grain of salt (no pun intended). This is considered a educational / training event so you might have a better chance, but I wouldn't count on it. We have had a member find out the hard way that even if it's not a 'timed' event they can deny coverage since it's not on public roads. Is the date April 19th? I got that day off I just dont know if all the snow and salt will be gone, and im obsessive over not driving her until its all gone and washed away.
This sounds like a lot more fun than drag racing! If its a for sure thing I will attend!
Edit: I contacted progressive and sent them the details the event contained, and they said as long as I am the one operating my vehicle I would be covered. Which contradicts what TCspeed6 has said about his Progressive contact... Hmm?
+1Indeed need some more info.
Are we looking at going to this exact event or just setting a similar one up? If this event where / how do we register, and do we know what it costs to become a 'member' as it says membership required for the event.
Well I got it in an email.... does that count?Get it in writing that you will be covered at the specific event you are attending or I would take it with a grain of salt (no pun intended).
