Annual fender rolling meet!

Like we actually know what we're doing? Generally it ends up beer and swinging a hammer at something. Or me throwing parts across someones garage. Saturday, it was a sway bar. The weekend for that it was the stock TIP.

Seriously though, you might as well get down. As cheap as this is going to be, you might as well get in on it while the getting is good.
Quite frankly Sir you honesty scares me. ;) But what the hell sounds like my type of crowd.

We actually do have an idea as to what's going on. Most of us have rolled fenders on more than one occasion, so it's nothing new. Pretty easy job really. I just like to scare new guys because it's funny.

I have the fender roller in my possession, let me know who wants to pick it up from me or where I should bring it and when. Jeff mentioned that someone else was asking about it, so let's not wait on this for too long.

Any chance you were planning on attending porky's this week? If not, name the place and I can meet you somewhere one evening this week.

I'll be there tonight. I'll run home after work and pick it up.

Well, I have the roller. If anyone wants to use it this weekend, we can probably make that happen. Otherwise I think we're going to have a full-on meet next weekend (April 17 or 18).

It'll be $20 per person, and we'll throw that all back the Jeff the Alignment Guy for the rental.

How long are you going to have it for, and how much were you planning on charging? if you wanted to make a few bucks, I can always offer it out to the MNFocus crowd, and see if anyone else wants it done there. You could make a couple bucks in the process. :)

Jeff mentioned that someone else may need it soon so we can't have it too long. If this person contacts me I will have to pick it up and get it to him, but I could get it back afterward.

Jeff charged me $20 to use it last year, so I think it's fair that each person who uses pitches in some cash as if they were renting it themselves. It's a fair cost for a tool that you can't buy for cheaper than $175 that you'll hopefully only need to use once.

I rolled my own fenders... that should provide an idea with the ease of this process.

Sorry guys but I am going to have to pull a noob on you and ask If I am going to have to worry about paint flaking even after using this tool. Last thing in the world i want to do is battle under fender rust on a 2008 car in 2-3 years. Though I rarely do drive it in the winters.

If you use a heat gun to make sure the metal and paint is nice and hot, and go slowly, you should be able to do it without cracking your paint.

my driveway may be available, since i live like 2 miles from morries. Let me know if you're interested
That would be minty. Also, I like right after detail day. Wheels should be on the whip by then.... so we can see exactly how stupid I might have been .
