SUDO Make me a SAMCH
Did you try just regular or blue masking tape? Or did you have the green auto tape? I have some of the green stuff and it seems to work better for forming to the small R/c stuff, it's pretty thin, like 1/4" they might even make it smaller. Cool idear.

I actually used some stuff that was especially for RC. I might try frog tape next, since it seems to stick a little better than this stuff did. We shall see.

OIC. Yeah, I know GDD has em, this was sort of an impulse idea. I woke up decided I wanted plaid, and went to the RC store. I'd not have done an EvoX otherwise.

Team Associated rc18mt, Mamba micro pro 5700kv brushless converted. (Yes, I'm scared of it)
Tamiya TT01E DSpec, stock everything, stock 19t "sport" motor (read, SLOW)
Tamiya TT01E Non D-spec, bone stock as well (pending pickup from teh picklz)
Tamiya TT01- non E, non D-spec (parts)

I REALLY want a Stampede VXL 4x4.

and just in my opinion dont buy a stampede, they are very tippy and two wheel drive. A friend of mine had one and it wasnt that fun

Bodies are cheap. Paint can get expensive if you're like me and play way outside your skillset.

so as you may know, i have an hpi rs4 rally, and am looking to make it go faster.....any ideers on how id do this? pretty sure the motor is realll tired, and i could use new wheels and tires.....suggestions anyone? i know nothing about this area as i just found this car buried in storage

If any of you fellas are still interested in doing some racing (it's been a while since I've talked R/C with the MNMazda crew), check out MMR Raceway in St Louis Park. They run off-road on Friday nights, consisting of a Spec Traxxas Slash class, a Stock Truck class (T4's, etc), and a balls out Mod Buggy class.

The Slash class had 34 entries last friday, and is the biggest class any track has had around here in a long, lonnnnng time. It's relatively cheap too...basically $240 for a truck, and you're racing!

Heck yeah! Hope you guys are all doing well...I was surprised to see an email in my mailbox that a reply had been made to this thread after so long, so I thought I'd say howdy!

I was thinking of just buying a new one, but I think theyre discontinued so I figured I'd bring it back from teh dead. Although now I need a body.....anyone have a cheapy?
